Nira Caledonia is often praised for its gorgeous building and interior, providing a comfortable and chic experience. Guests appreciate the spacious rooms, with some highlighting the particularly large Dean suite with a private garden. The hotel's location in the New Town area is considered convenient for accessing attractions like the castle (15-minute walk) and the charming Stockbridge, though some guests have found rooms in the attic to be too hot, especially when the windows are not functioning properly. Many enjoy the excellent breakfast, including a traditional Scottish option.

Luxurious and Comfortable Stay

I appreciated the staff's kindness when I needed something printed. The room included a huge comfy bed. The location is in a lovely part of town. I noticed that the hotel offers everything one could wish for.
The small double room had an extractor from the kitchen. It was put on late at night and very early in the morning. The noise was so loud it was impossible to sleep.

i found the staff very attentive. the hotel itself is a lovely wee spot! i appreciated the beautifully decorated rooms in a house that used to be a home. it was a very charming stay.
My room faced the street, so i heard a lot of noise. the breakfast did not include prosecco or hot food. the price felt a little high. I expected more for what i paid.
